Q: Can I pay my bill online?
A: Bills for physician services, hospital services, and ambulatory surgery can be paid online through secure patient portals.

Insurance
Q: What insurance do you accept?
A: Here is a list of insurers accepted by Redeemer Health entities. Please call our customer service department at 215-856-1000 if you have specific questions or call your insurance company to verify your coverage because some insurers offer varying plans and coverage products. Eligibility and benefits should be verified before patient care appointments.
Appointment and Test Scheduling
Q: How do I schedule a diagnostic test (mammography, x-ray, etc)?
A: You can schedule a diagnostic test by calling 215-938-5700 or completing an appointment request form.
Q: How do I schedule an appointment with a Redeemer Health OB-GYN or primary care physician?
A: If you are an existing patient you can request an appointment via the My Health Story patient portal. If you’re a new patient or haven’t received your Patient Portal logon information yet, search for a physician’s phone number here.
Medical Records
Q: Can I access my medical records?
A: Medical records can be obtained via online patient portals.
Q: How do I reset my password/Who is my administrator?
A: The patient portal for hospital in-patient visits is administered by Medical Records at 215-938-3205, while the patient portals for physician office visits are administered by your physician’s office.
Q: Can I get copies of my records?"
A: You can receive a copy of your medical records by calling:

Residential Services
Q: What options are available for senior living?
A: Redeemer Senior Living has two locations, The Lafayette and St. Joseph Manor, that offer a variety of residential options for seniors including independent living, personal care, skilled nursing, and short-stay rehabilitation. In addition, Redeemer Health's Cedar Views at the Villages of Pine Valley offers resort-style, maintenance-free living for active adults age 62+

Volunteering
Q: Can I become a volunteer?
A: To become a volunteer, you must:
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Be able to commit to a minimum of 50 hours of service
- Complete a volunteer application
- Complete a health screening and a 2-step PPD test
- Complete a new volunteer orientation

Additional Frequently Asked Questions About Releasing Medical Information

The authorization form must be signed by the patient and is only good for six months from the date of signature.
If the patient is unable to sign, documentation must be provided indicating that you have the authority to sign on the patient’s behalf.
A valid ID is required.
If you, the patient, specifies that person’s name on the signed authorization form, records may be released. We must be able to confirm your signature and the identity of the person picking up your medical records.
There may be a charge associated with copies of your records. This is authorized by a Pennsylvania Department of Health Notice regulated by Pennsylvania Act 26 which is updated every January. For specific information contact the Health Information Management department.
Note: There is no charge for records sent directly to your physician.
A courtesy copy of your discharge instructions are forwarded to your family physician if he/she is identified at the time of your admission to the hospital. If your family physician is the same as the attending physician who treated you while in the hospital, they have immediate access to your records.
As long as your child is under the age of 18, is not emancipated, or is not pregnant, you may be able to get a copy of these records.
Specific rules apply to the following circumstances: Biological parents- married: Both mother and father have an equal right to their child’s medical records.
Biological parents - never married: Mother has the ability to sign the release of information authorization form. If an Acknowledgement of Paternity form along with the birth certificate contains the Father’s name, he has the authority to sign the release of information form as well.
Step-parents: A court order that permits the stepparents to sign for the release of the child’s information is necessary.
Adoptive parents: As long as the biological parent’s rights have been terminated in the process of adoption, adoptive parents may sign the release of information form.
There are certain circumstances when records are provided; as long as you are the executor of the decedent’s estate or the next of kin responsible for the disposition of the remains. There may be a charge for the cost of reproducing the copies as stated above.
Life insurance companies can obtain medical records for the purposes of paying out life insurance benefits as long as the request from the life insurance company includes a release of information authorization from the executor of the estate or the next of kin responsible for the disposition of the remains.
