Specialty Medication Support Program

The Specialty Medication Support Program provides employees and their dependents enrolled in the Redeemer Health employee group health plan an enhanced prescription drug benefit and medical supportive services for certain medical conditions that typically require the use of specialty medications.

In order for the specialty medication ordered by your treating physician to be covered and filled by the Redeemer Health Pharmacy Benefit Plan you are required to participate in the Redeemer Specialty Medication Support Program. No participant is required to stop treatment with their current specialist or primary care physician. The Specialty Medication Support Program is a supplement to and not a replacement for your treating physician.

List of Specialty Medicines

Program participants will receive:

  • A $0 copayment on the Specialty Medications ordered/filled.
  • Specialty Medication fulfillment by EasyRx Pharmacy located on the campus of Holy Redeemer Hospital, adjacent to the Specialty Medication Support Program treatment area. Medications can be mailed to employees and their dependents enrolled in the Redeemer Health employee group health plan for whom EasyRx Pharmacy is not conveniently located.
  • Support and consultation from Redeemer Health healthcare professionals.

These medications will not be covered by the Redeemer Health Pharmacy Benefit Program unless processed through the Specialty Medication Support Program.

Please note that at least one business day of advanced notice is requested if you need to cancel or reschedule your specialty med appointment. Canceled or missed appointments may be rescheduled for the next available time, but this will result in a delay in filling your prescription.
