Holy Redeemer Hospital Earns Another Three Years of Stroke Care Certification

Holy Redeemer Hospital achieved recertification as a Primary Stroke Center, affirming its expertise in a full range of stroke-related medical challenges for another three years. Certification from DNV is now valid until March 2029.

This certification lets our community know that we have the resources and commitment to provide the best possible stroke care. It ensures a combination of the right caregivers and equipment to quickly assess and treat strokes. It is based on standards set by the Brain Attack Coalition and the American Stroke Association, and affirms that Holy Redeemer Hospital addresses the full spectrum of stroke care – diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and education – and establishes clear metrics to evaluate outcomes. 

The hospital stroke team has maintained Primary Stroke Center status since 2011.
