Rabia L. Cattie, M.D.

Dr. Rabia Cattie cares for patients with cancer and non-cancerous blood disorders. Her expertise focuses primarily on treatment of breast cancer.

As a medical oncologist, Dr. Cattie works closely with colleagues in surgical and radiation oncology as part of a multidisciplinary approach to delivering effective cancer treatment.

Her relationships with patients are also grounded in mutual respect and trust. She helps them make informed decisions as they navigate diagnoses and treatment processes, balancing their personal and cultural preferences with the care options she provides.

Dr. Cattie earned her medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College at the University of Punjab in Lahore, Pakistan. She went on to complete an internship and residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in hematology oncology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. She is board certified in hematology, oncology and internal medicine and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

Before joining Redeemer Health, she practiced at Ochsner Medical Center in Jefferson, Louisiana.

In her spare time, Dr. Cattie enjoys spending time with her family and her cat, traveling, reading and exploring a variety of cuisines.
