About Jonathan Cantalino, DO

Working within a multidisciplinary team, Dr. Jonathan Cantalino provides leading-edge radiation therapy (RT) for cancers of any type, including breast, lung, prostate, gastrointestinal, gynecologic, central nervous system, hematologic, and head and neck cancers. He is skilled in three-dimensional conformal RT (3D-CRT), intensity-modulated RT (IMRT), stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), stereotactic body RT (SBRT), high-dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy, deep inspiration breath hold (DIBH), and surface guidance, among other forms of treatment.

Dr. Cantalino is dedicated to caring for the whole patient, not just treating their cancer. He believes the best cancer care is driven by patient values and goals as much as it is by advanced technology and multidisciplinary practice. Drawing on his experience as an educator as well as a physician, he finds profound fulfillment in helping patients navigate the difficult decisions and emotions that come with a cancer diagnosis.

After graduating from Yale University with a BA in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology, Dr. Cantalino earned a master’s in adolescent education from Pace University. He went on to earn a DO from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), culminating in a research year in radiation oncology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
