Dr. Howard Natter provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of neurological conditions, including stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, neuropathy, headache disorders and dementia. He offers preventive care and education to help reduce patients’ risk factors for neurological illness, and, where necessary, to help them manage chronic neurological diseases with a focus on improving their quality of life. Dr. Natter coordinates his care with other providers to help ensure his patients receive holistic treatment.
After graduating magna cum laude with a BS in behavioral neurosciences from the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Natter earned his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine (now Drexel University College of Medicine). He completed an internship at Crozer-Chester Medical Center and his residency in neurology at Hahnemann. He is board certified in neurology.
Dr. Natter was drawn to medicine because it combines science with the privilege of caring for people in meaningful ways. He chose to work in neurology because it allows him to blend problem-solving with compassion, helping people navigate conditions that often carry uncertainty.
Dr. Natter prioritizes listening carefully and understanding his patients’ individual needs, not only to provide medical expertise but to empower them with knowledge so they can be active partners in their care. What he values most is the opportunity to build long-term relationships with those in his care and their families — walking alongside them, celebrating progress, and supporting them through difficult times.
Outside of medicine, spending time with his family is of the utmost importance to Dr. Natter. He also enjoys tennis, hiking and photography.
