Home Care Aide Training

Are you looking to start a career in health care, or for a second career doing something meaningful and helpful to others? Then becoming a Home Care Aide may be a great option for you!

Redeemer Health offers a two-week Home Care Aide Training Program.

The two-week program has full-day classes - lectures in the morning and hands-on skills in the afternoons, and assessments throughout the course.

Upon successful completion of the class, you will receive a Home Health Aide certification and an opportunity to work at Redeemer Health as a Home Care Aide (pending a physical and a background check).

You will learn:

• The symptoms associated with chronic illnesses and conditions
• How to provide personal care
• How to safely move a patient

To qualify, you must:

• Commit to a full two weeks of attendance
• Have a driver's license
• Have reliable transportation to visit patients
• Pay a $160 fee for books and supplies

You will receive:

• Home Care Aide Certification
• An employment opportunity with Redeemer Health
