About Kerry E Krauss, MD

Dr. Kerry Krauss is a skilled ob/gyn with experience in the full spectrum of women’s reproductive health. She provides wellness exams; diagnosis and treatment for abnormal gynecologic conditions, including PCOS; prenatal and postpartum care; and minimally invasive pelvic surgery.

While she cares for women from teenagers to those experiencing perimenopause, Dr. Krauss is an especially passionate supporter of women navigating the responsibilities of motherhood, work and home. It’s important to her to build relationships with the women whose babies she will deliver. She also talks with expectant mothers about postpartum planning, then follows up deliveries with in-person care or telemedicine to help ensure they have the support they need.

Dr. Krauss takes an evidence-based yet compassionate approach to women’s care, striving to “meet patients where they are” by taking time to learn each one’s personal history and what health concerns may be affecting their quality of life. She is grateful to play a role in helping her patients to lead their best lives.

Dr. Krauss was inspired to enter medicine by the example of her father, also a respected and well-loved ob/gyn. Growing up working in his office deeply influenced her professional values and standards for compassionate care.

Following college and a few years in women’s health clinical research, Dr. Krauss earned her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College and completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Pennsylvania Hospital. She has collaborated closely within multidisciplinary ob/gyn and surgical teams in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings; she speaks English and Spanish.

Dr. Krauss lives in a Philadelphia suburb with her spouse and two children. Once an avid student athlete, she still enjoys volleyball, soccer and running, but says her “greatest role is being a mom.”
