About Christine A. Bruce, MCAT, M Div

Christine A. Bruce is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with individuals, couples and families, from adolescents to adults of all ages and backgrounds. She has been practicing psychotherapy since 1979 as a marriage and family therapist, creative arts therapist, grief therapist and pastoral/spiritual counselor. Christine’s areas of focus include adjustment disorder, depression and anxiety, OCD, issues of adolescence, grief and loss, trauma survival, divorce recovery, marital reconciliation and life direction.

Christine's philosophical perspective is that individuals tend to define themselves in terms of relationship—to self, to one's beliefs, to significant others and to events, both past and present. In therapy, Christine works with her clients to explore relationships and discover the meaning, challenge and potential they hold—gaining new possibilities for freedom, reconciliation and growth.
